Women’s Nordic Wraps Up Weekend at Jackson Touring

JACKSON, N.H. - The University of Maine at Farmington women's nordic team finished up their USCSA season-opening weekend at the Jackson Touring Foundation with today's 10km freestyle race, the 'Jackson Jaunt'. 

Racing without junior captain Ayla Bodach-Turner (East Montpelier, Vermont), the Beavers were paced by sophomore Cora Treiss (Berlin, N.H.) who continues to show great strides. Treiss placed 4th amongst USCSA competitors. 

First-year Kelsey McCrum (Greenbush, Maine) continued her strong start to her career, finishing 17th amongst the USCSA competition.

Overall as a team, the Beaver placed tied for 3rd with Clarkson University. McGill University placed first with Smith College finishing second.

UP NEXT

The Beavers return to action on January 25th when they travel to Middlebury, Vermont for a two day event.
