Box Score DELHI, NY - Senior goalkeeper Callie Hammer recorded eight saves but the University of Maine at Farmington women's soccer team fell 2-1 to SUNY Delhi on Sunday in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.
The Broncos scored in the fifth minute to take an early 1-0 lead on Alexa DuBois' unassisted goal. Senior McKenna Brodeur tied the game in the 31st minute on an unassisted score to send the teams into halftime deadlocked 1-1.
DuBois struck again in the 59thminute, scoring the unassisted game-winner for the Broncos.
Delhi (5-3-0, 3-0-0 NAC) outshot UMaine-Farmington (1-8-0, 1-2-0 NAC) 17-14 and held a 12-1 advantage in corner kick.
Brodeur registered five shots to lead the Beavers' offense, teammate and first-year Audrey Fletcher added four shots.
UMaine-Farmington will host NAC rival Northern Vermont-Lyndon on Saturday at 1 p.m. SUNY Delhi travels to Cazenovia on Saturday at 1 p.m.
