UTICA, N.Y. - The UMaine-Farmington women's soccer team battled the SUNY Poly Wildcats to a 0-0 tie in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play on Saturday afternoon. The Beavers are now 5-5-2 on the season and 3-1-2 in NAC play while the Wildcats record now sits at 3-2-3 and 2-1-2 in conference play.
The teams played a very even matched, competitive contest. The Wildcats held an advantage in shots 9-6 and shots on goal 5-2. Each team registered one corner kick.
Freshman goalkeeper Paige Gonya (Sabattus, Maine) recorded five saves in the shutout. Audrey Fletcher (Monmouth, Maine), Abby Lash, (Waldoboro, Maine) and Emily Boyle (Orleans, Mass.) all recorded two shots for the Beavers.

The Beavers will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 PM at Cazenovia College as they continue their New York road trip.Â
