Beavers Battle Bobcats

Lewiston, Maine - UMaine-Farmington's women's soccer team battled Bates College on Sunday afternoon to a final score of 3-1 in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • McKenna Brodeur got the Beavers on the board early in the opening 10 minutes with Emily Boyle on the assist for a 1-0 lead.
  • Callie Hammer made 13 saves on 16 shots as Sarah DiPillo scored the Bobcats first goal in the second half followed by Riley Turcotte to give Bates a 2-1 lead with about 15 minutes left in the game.
  • Elizabeth Patrick scored the third goal at the 85th minute with Laura Jarry on the assist. 

UP NEXT 

The Beavers will host SUNY Canton on Saturday, September 19th for senior day at 2:30 PM.
