Box Score Gorham, Maine – UMaine-Farmington scores twice to get past the University of Southern Maine by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action on Hannahford Field.

With the win, the Beavers move to 5-5-0 on the year while the Huskies fall too 2-8 overall.
BY THE NUMBERS
The Beavers were outshot 15-12 overall while Southern Maine made seven saves to UMF's six saves. The Huskies also had six corner kicks to the Beavers one.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Beavers got on the board early in the opening minute when McKenna Brodeur scored just 30 seconds into the game on a breakaway. The see-saw action first half finished with the Beavers leading 1-0.
Mid-way through the second half, Elise Porter scored for the Huskies when Sarah Michaud sent a cross into the box and found Porter who put it in the back of the net.
The Beavers bounced back 10 minutes later when Kaiti Kinney received a pass from Brodeur to give the Beavers the 2-1 victory.
